"summary_nl": "Post-quantum cryptography is the study of cryptography under the security model that the attacker has a quantum computer. Research over the last decade has established 5 families of systems as likely candidates to survive attacks by quantum computers. However, the security of these systems needs further research, in particular under quantum attacks. The area of quantum cryptanalysis brings together research in algorithms, number theory, algebraic geometry, cryptography, and quantum computing.\n\n\n\nThis project will analyze the security of code-based systems, lattice-based systems, and isogeny-based systems under quantum attacks. Particular attention is given to how additional structure in the systems affects the security and establishing the exact costs of quantum attacks.",
