"summary_en": "Ensuring secure authentication in automated systems, where there's no direct human involvement, is a challenging task. Most current solutions rely on either secret digital keys or visual checks of unique physical keys (called PUFs). A new approach called Quantum-Secure Authentication uses quantum technology to improve the security of the readout of these PUFs. We propose to investigate the feasibility of and path towards commercializing Quantum-Secure Authentication for high-security applications, such as authentication for access to critical infrastructure and communications/network hardware.",
